Russia's Krasnodar Krai has come under a large-scale attack by strike drones, with powerful explosions reported in Anapa. Sochi Airport has suspended all incoming and outgoing flights, according to Russian social media channels.

According to the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission, Russia’s Krasnodar Krai is under a large-scale attack by kamikaze drones. Explosions have been heard over Anapa as air defense systems respond. Sochi Airport has implemented the Carpet security protocol.

Russian social media channels have also published videos of the explosions.

The Russian Telegram channel Mash reported at least five explosions in the sky over Anapa, with preliminary information indicating air defense systems were active. According to residents, the blasts began around 00:10 Moscow time.

"In the areas of Vinogradnyi, Vityazevo, and over Anapa itself, up to 10 loud explosions were heard. There is no official information on casualties or damage," the report stated.

Sochi Airport has implemented the Carpet security protocol after detecting UAVs in the airspace. Since 01:47 Moscow time (00:47 Kyiv time), flights have been suspended for both arrivals and departures.

The governor of Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, reported that as a result of the drone attack, three houses were damaged in several municipalities. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

In the Temryuksky district, windows were shattered in a private house in Starotitarovskaya village, and the roof of another property was damaged in Strelka village.

In Tuapse, a private house was damaged, and a fire broke out, but it was quickly extinguished.

In the village of Dzhiginka, near Anapa, drone debris fell near a private house, damaging a utility building.
