Explosions heard in Khmelnytskyi region during air raid
Explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region during a large-scale alarm in Ukraine. Before that, the Air Force warned of missile launches, according to Suspilne.
"The sounds of explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi region, according to a Suspilne correspondent," the agency writes.
No other details of the situation have been disclosed. Officials have not yet commented on the situation.
There was a hit
"The missiles were launched and headed to the Khmelnytskyi region, to Starokostiantyniv. The alert was announced at about 14:09, all over Ukraine. And, ten minutes later, there was a hit in the Khmelnytskyi region," says Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat.
Large-scale alert in Ukraine
After 14:00, air alerts were announced in all regions of Ukraine. According to the Air Force, a Russian MiG-31K fighter jet was spotted taking off from the Savasleyka airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
At 14:17, the risk of missiles being launched from the Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation was reported. After that, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of launches near Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region.
Russian night attack on Ukraine, December 14
On the night of December 14, Russian terrorists used the following against Ukraine:
- attack UAVs;
- S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
Six missiles were fired in the direction of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. The enemy also used drones from three directions. A total of 42 UAVs were launched, 41 of which were destroyed by Ukrainian soldiers.
The main target of the attack was the Odesa region. A dormitory in the region was damaged as a result of the UAV debris falling. 11 people were injured.
