Explosion heard in Kharkiv

In the early hours of October 2, an explosion was heard in Kharkiv. Preliminary reports indicate that the city was attacked by an enemy using a guided bomb, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"An explosion was heard in Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, a strike was carried out with a guided aerial bomb on the city’s Kyiv district," the statement, posted at 4:23 a.m., reads.
Before the strike, Ukraine’s Air Force had warned of guided bomb launches towards the city.
Mayor Terekhov clarified that the impact in the Kyiv district damaged a garage cooperative, vehicles, and private residential buildings. Currently, there are no reported casualties. Relevant services are continuing to survey the area.
