Latest alerts and strikes
As a reminder, on the evening of 14 November, an air-raid alert was declared across all Ukrainian regions after Russia launched MiG-31K aircraft, carriers of Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
Russia fired missiles over the Sumy and Chernihiv regions toward Kyiv, before the trajectory shifted toward Starokostiantyniv. Explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region at around 09:30 PM Kyiv time.
In Ukraine, the takeoff of Russian MiG-31K jets prompts a nationwide air-raid alert because the aircraft can carry Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. According to Russian sources, the missiles have a range of up to 2,000 kilometers.
A day earlier, Russian forces carried out a major overnight attack on Kyiv and other regions, launching several types of missiles and attack drones. The mass strike caused significant damage and resulted in casualties.
