Situation in Crimea

Russia occupied Crimea in 2014 and transformed the peninsula into a large military base.

Recently, however, partisans managed to reconnoiter the Russian base near Cape Fiolent, where Russian air defense systems are deployed.

We also previously reported that on December 6, gunfire was heard in Kerch. Local residents reported the attack by maritime drones. Later it turned out that Ukrainian maritime drones had made a breakthrough in the Kerch Strait, leading to the closure of the Crimean Bridge by the Russian authorities.
