Explosion occurs in Kharkiv: Russia attacks city with drone

On the night of March 31, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with at least one drone. An explosion was heard in the city, according to the Telegram channel of the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
The explosion was heard at approximately 2:18 a.m. Kyiv time. Before that, the Ukrainian Air Force warned that an enemy drone was heading toward the city. Later, the city's mayor confirmed the information.
"Preliminary reports indicate a strike by an enemy drone on the border of the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts. The exact location of the impact, consequences, and the presence of casualties are being clarified," the message read at 2:22 a.m. Kyiv time.
"The impact occurred on the territory of a civilian enterprise in the Kyivskyi district. Information regarding casualties and destruction is being clarified," wrote Terekhov.

Terekhov clarified that, initially, there were no casualties at the location of the strike. However, as a result of the shockwave, the windows in nearby apartment buildings were damaged.
Shelling of Kharkiv
On the evening of March 29, Russian forces also attacked Kharkiv with drones. As a result of the enemy strike, residential buildings, a military hospital, and other structures were damaged.
In his evening address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed that two people were killed in the attack and 55 others were injured, although earlier reports indicated 35 wounded.
