Explosion occurs at Iran's gas pipeline

An explosion occurred on the main gas pipeline in the Iranian city of Borujen. A fire broke out, reports Mehrnews.
Rescuers reported that a fire broke out as a result of the explosion, spreading between Halvaii Gorge area and Baladaji Intersection.
The explosion was visible for many kilometers. Iranians traditionally blamed the Israeli Mossad.
Videos of the fire have appeared online.
The Mayor of Borujen, Fattah Karemi, stated that the gas supply to the pipeline has been disconnected.
"The fire will continue until the remaining gas in the pipeline is completely burned," said Fattah Karemi.
The reasons for the incident are being investigated.
