Explosion occurred in temporarily occupied Berdyansk
In the temporarily occupied city of Berdyansk in the Zaporizhzhia region, reports of an explosion were received on the morning of November 22, according to the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.
"Berdyansk. Residents report an explosion in the temporarily occupied city," Fedorova reported.
According to her, it was loud in Berdyansk yesterday late evening. As always, the occupiers reported on the supposed work of air defense.
Strike on the airfield in Berdyansk
Recall that a few weeks ago, Ukrainian forces struck at the airfields of the occupiers in Luhansk and Berdyansk. Information appeared in the media that ATACMS long-range American missiles, provided in small quantities, were used by the Armed Forces for the attack.
Special operations forces reported that as a result of the DRAGONFLY special operation to strike at enemy airfields in the temporarily occupied Luhansk and Berdyansk, nine Russian helicopters, air defense installations, an ammunition depot, and much more were destroyed.
Later, it became known that the Russian military concentrated their aviation at the Taganrog base after the Armed Forces struck ATACMS at their base in Berdyansk.
