Explosion in Dnipro confirmed as terrorist attack: Soldier killed

The explosion in Dnipro, which occurred today in one of the central districts, has been classified as a terrorist attack. As a result of the incident, a serviceman was killed, RBC-Ukraine reports citing its sources.
According to RBC-Ukraine sources, operational actions are still ongoing, but preliminarily, the incident is being qualified as a terrorist attack.
Two law enforcement officers were also injured in the explosion.
Earlier today, it was reported that an explosion had occurred in the city. Local media speculated that a car might have been blown up.
At present, a police investigative team, explosives experts, a forensic laboratory, and all relevant services are working at the scene.
In November of this year, Ukraine experienced a wave of sabotage involving explosions targeting security forces. Perpetrators used explosives to carry out the attacks.
