In Sevastopol, the temporarily occupied Crimea, a powerful explosion rocked the morning of December 24th. According to eyewitnesses, before this, a sound resembling a rocket was audible, reports Telegram channel Krym.Realii.

"As reported by our correspondent, around 08:35 local time, a powerful explosion occurred, shaking windows. Prior to this, a sound resembling a rocket was heard," according to the publication.

It's worth noting that at present, official authorities or the military command of Ukraine have not commented on the situation in any way. The so-called "authorities" of the occupying power also maintain silence.

There have been no statements from the Russian city authorities.

Situation in Crimea

Overall, explosions are increasingly heard in Crimea. Our defenders have carried out dozens of operations on the peninsula and in the Black Sea, destroying Russian bases, warehouses, and ships.
