On the morning of December 20, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Allegedly, the long-range space communications center of the Russian Aerospace Forces, according to Krymskyi viter.

According to the agency, the first attack took place at about 4 a.m. in Alushta. At the same time, at least 3 strikes were recorded on the territory of the FSB military unit 28735, which, according to open data, is located in the village of Soniachnohirske.

"Preliminary, the attack was carried out from a UAV. One FSB officer was wounded, and a satellite communication antenna was damaged," Krymskyi Viter writes.

The next attack was carried out, preliminarily, by Storm Shadow missiles at 5 a.m. on the 40th separate command and measurement complex as part of the Main Test Space Center named after G.S. Titov of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the village of Vitino, Sakskyi district.

At least 2 strikes were recorded on the territory of the center. One unit of military equipment was damaged. There were no casualties.

Situation in Crimea

In general, explosions are heard more and more often in Crimea, and pro-Ukrainian sentiments are recorded among the residents. Ukrainian defenders have already conducted dozens of operations on the peninsula and in the Black Sea, destroying Russian bases, warehouses, and ships.

Recently, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggested that it would be easier to de-occupy Crimea than Donbas. According to him, it is not only about the liberation of the territories but also about the general mood of the population.
