EU's top diplomat arrives in Kyiv
Josep Borrell, the EU's top diplomat, arrived in Ukraine on November 9. This marks his fifth visit since the start of the full-scale war, according to Borrell’s post on X (formerly Twitter).
As the EU's chief diplomat noted, this will be his final visit to Ukraine in this role.
"EU support to Ukraine has been my personal priority during my mandate and will remain on top of the EU‘s agenda," he wrote.
Borrell arrived in Ukraine's capital by train, where he was met at the station by the EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Katarina Maternova.

Next month, Josep Borrell will step down from his position as the EU's High Representative following the formation of the new European Commission.
The position will be taken over by former Estonian Prime Minister, Kaja Kallas, who is known as Estonia's "Iron Lady" and a fierce opponent of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. She has been placed on Russia's most-wanted list by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for "desecration of historical memory and hostility to Russia."
Kallas is a strong supporter of Ukraine, particularly in its efforts to join the EU and NATO.
