Effective and safe ways to boost low blood pressure at home
Arterial pressure is an important indicator of health, and some people may experience low blood pressure issues. Low blood pressure can lead to fatigue, weakness, and other unpleasant symptoms.

What to drink to raise blood pressure
According to the Ministry of Health, for most people, blood pressure readings not exceeding 140/90 are considered acceptable.
Low blood pressure, or hypotension, is a common condition where blood pressure in the arteries is below the normal range. People suffering from hypotension may experience fatigue, weakness, dizziness, and even fainting.
To raise blood pressure, you can drink:
- several glasses of water in a short period
- a glass of carbonated water
- a cup of strong coffee
- a cup of strong tea (preferably green, hibiscus, or hibiscus tea)
How to raise blood pressure using folk methods
Some herbs can help raise blood pressure:
- tincture of ginseng root (improves body tone, accelerates metabolic processes, strengthens blood vessel walls)
- tincture of eleutherococcus (increases blood vessel tone, normalizes pressure, helps with nervous disorders, immune system problems)
- tincture of yarrow (restores damaged nerve fibers, soothes, restores vitality, relieves vascular spasms, normalizes heart function)
- tincture of lemon balm (has a tonic, antioxidant effect, eliminates fatigue, increases efficiency)
- decoction of hawthorn or bearberry
In addition, blood pressure can be increased using Chinese acupressure techniques:
- between the eyebrows
- on the inner side of the foot arch
- in the dimple behind the ankle
- on the inner side of the wrist near the base of the thumb
- symmetrical points in the chest area in the subclavian hollows
- earlobes
Some also recommend raising blood pressure by taking a contrast shower.
What to eat when blood pressure is low
If you have low blood pressure, certain simple and widely available products can quickly help raise it:
- a small piece of herring
- a salty cucumber
- a piece of feta or feta cheese
- a spoonful of soy sauce
- a piece of dark chocolate
