Jam croissants can be prepared even without yeast and baking powder. The recipe includes simple ingredients. You will get soft and fragrant pastries that taste great with tea or coffee, says the YouTube channel Smakolyky Yulii.

Fragrant jam croissants: Simple recipe

Ingredients:

  • Flour – 400 g
  • A pinch of salt
  • Butter – 200 g
  • Sour cream (15–20%) – 200 g
  • Jam – 200 g
  • Powdered sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

First, grate the butter, add flour, and rub together with your hands until crumbs form. Add sour cream and knead the dough. Put the dough in a bag and then put that bag in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into two parts. Roll it out to make a 2-3 mm thick. Then cut into triangles, as in the photo.

Place jam on each piece and roll into small croissants.

Bake at 170 degrees for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
