Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Bloomberg that Ukraine could help Middle Eastern countries destroy Iranian Shahed drones if Arab leaders persuade Moscow to agree to a ceasefire.

"I would suggest the following: leaders of the Middle East have great relations with the Russians. They can ask Russians to implement a month-long ceasefire," the Ukrainian head of state said.
According to him, once a ceasefire is in place, Ukraine would send its "best operators of drone interceptors to the Middle East countries."
The president specified that the ceasefire could also be declared for two months or even two weeks so that Ukraine “can help the Middle East countries to protect civilians.”
Zelenskyy added that the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar undoubtedly maintain good economic relations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
"We can help Israel in the same way," the President assured.
Ukraine's assistance in countering Shahed drones
Earlier, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said his country would involve Ukrainian experts to help Gulf states shoot down Iranian attack drones.
Today, March 2, President Zelenskyy noted that he had not received any requests regarding the involvement of Ukrainian experts in countering Iranian drones in the Middle East.
It is worth noting that Iran has been actively using its drones to strike Gulf countries. This comes after the United States and Israel launched an operation against the Iranian regime.
