Duda on nuclear weapons: Whoever uses them first will be cursed
Poland's President Andrzej Duda stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his generals are well aware that whoever uses nuclear weapons first will be cursed, according to TVN24.
Duda commented on Putin's statement regarding the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons.
“If we look at this calmly and without panic, it should be clear: he is reiterating what has been enshrined in Russian military doctrine for many years, that Russia reserves the right to use any means, including, of course, nuclear means, in the event of a threat to Russia... There is nothing new in this,” Duda responded.
At the same time, the President noted that the one who uses nuclear weapons first will bear all the responsibility.
“On the other hand, Vladimir Putin also knows well, as do his generals, that whoever uses nuclear weapons first will be cursed... They will never absolve themselves of this responsibility if they use nuclear weapons. Not even to the slightest extent. Never. The world will never forgive them for that,” he added.
Putin's nuclear blackmail
Recently, Putin once again resorted to nuclear blackmail. This time, he claimed that Russia's nuclear weapons are supposedly superior to NATO's.
This statement even elicited a response from the Pope, who called Putin's threats madness.
