Drones swarm Moscow: Skies closed as authorities blame debris

In Russia, on February 22, authorities reported an alleged attack on Moscow by unidentified drones. Airport operations have been suspended, according to the Telegram account of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin and Russian media.

According to Rosaviatsia, restrictions on arrivals and departures have been imposed at Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, and Sheremetyevo airports.
Passengers are warned that longer wait times for flights are possible "due to measures being taken to ensure safety."
Meanwhile, Sobyanin reported that air defense forces had allegedly shot down seven drones flying toward Moscow.

Drone attacks on Moscow
Earlier, on February 15, Moscow faced attacks by unidentified drones from early morning. Airports in the Russian capital were closed, and debris was reported falling in the city.
On New Year’s Eve, from December 31 to January 1, Moscow was also targeted by drones. Mayor Sobyanin reported that drones were shot down, while Domodedovo Airport was temporarily closed. The attack reportedly occurred during Russian President Vladimir Putin's New Year address.
