Drone attacks on Moscow
Russian occupiers complained about drone attacks on Moscow on the night of August 31. The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergey Sobyanin, claimed that a drone was shot down 100 kilometers from the Russian capital. Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense admitted that a drone was allegedly shot down in the Voskresensky district of the Moscow region (100 kilometers from Moscow). Of course, they immediately rushed to accuse Ukraine of the "attack."
Furthermore, on the night of August 30, Moscow announced the "Kover" ("Carpet") plan, which was introduced ahead of a possible attack. Information about it was also reported in the Tula and Ryazan regions, in addition to the capital. Overall, on August 30, there was a massive "bavovna" (explosions, ironically) in various regions of Russia - four Il-76 aircraft were destroyed in Pskov, and a large microelectronics plant in Bryansk was attacked. More details on this can be found in the RBC-Ukraine material.
