Drone strike sparks massive fire at oil depot in Russia’s Belgorod region

An oil depot in Prokhorovka, Russia’s Belgorod region, caught fire after an attack by unidentified drones, damaging storage tanks, Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reports.
In particular, the Belgorod region Governor said the fire had been completely extinguished. Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations equipment and firefighting trains were deployed to put out the blaze.
According to the governor, “there were no casualties as a result of the incident.” However, storage tanks at the facility were damaged in the attack.
Earlier, Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces released a video report summarizing strikes on Russian oil refineries in August of this year. In total, operators of the 14th Regiment carried out 11 deep strike operations.
Furthermore, RBC-Ukraine reported that on the night of September 5, the Unmanned Systems Forces attacked fuel infrastructure facilities in Russia and in occupied territory.
Recently, Ukrainian drones also targeted the Ryazan oil refinery. Numerous photos and videos appeared on social media showing a massive fire that broke out after the explosions.
On the evening of September 4, Ukrainian forces struck a key oil depot in temporarily occupied Luhansk,which supplies fuel to Russian troops.
