As RBC-Ukraine reported, on August 26 a powerful explosion occurred on the Ryazan–Moscow trunk oil pipeline, one of the key supply routes of petroleum products to Moscow.

At the same time, Russia in August raised its oil export plan following Ukrainian drone strikes on oil refineries. Damage to the pipelines could cut Russia’s oil exports by 500,000 barrels per day.
