The number of casualties in Zaporizhzhia is rapidly increasing due to the Russian drone strike attack, states the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

He reported that the number of casualties has risen to 14, including ten men and four women.

"Nine of them are currently in hospitals. Five received medical assistance on-site," the statement said.

Fedorov also released photos of the victims and the residential building that was hit by the UAV.

On the evening of May 1, Russian forces launched a mass drone strike on Zaporizhzhia. At least 10 strikes were carried out on the city.

The enemy UAVs damaged infrastructure facilities and a residential building. Initially, four people were reported injured, and later the number of wounded rose to eight.
