Drone strike on Kharkiv: Regional Prosecutor's Office clarifies consequences

As a result of a Russian drone attack on Kharkiv on the evening of March 13, four children and three adults, who experienced acute stress reactions, were injured. Videos of the aftermath of the enemy shelling have surfaced, showing hits in three districts of the city, according to the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.
It was reported that a total of four hits were recorded in Kharkiv between 8:00 p.m. Kyiv time and 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13. Two occurred in the Osnovianskyi district, one in the Novobavarskyi district, and another in the Nemyshlyanskyi district.
"The highest number of injuries occurred in the Osnovianskyi district, where a hit near private residential buildings caused damage to the facade and glazing of several private houses," said Dmytro Chubenko, spokesperson for the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.
He informed that in the Osnovianskyi district, seven people suffered acute stress reactions, including four children.
"The youngest boy is 11 months old, and the oldest girl is 8 years old. There are two girls and two boys. Additionally, two women and one man experienced acute stress reactions," added the representative of the regional prosecutor's office.
Furthermore, in the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv, there was a hit on a transport infrastructure enterprise and a hit on a warehouse, resulting in a fire.
According to Chubenko, in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv, there was a hit on an open area in a park zone. In the Nemishlyanskyi district, there was also a hit on an open area.
Prosecutors and investigators are working at the scene to collect debris from enemy UAVs.
"According to preliminary information, the enemy used a 'Geran-2' drone," Chubenko said, adding that criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding these war crimes.

As previously reported, on Wednesday evening, Russian forces once again attacked the city of Kharkiv with strike drones. Local authorities stated that during the air raid alert, a series of explosions were heard in Kharkiv.
It was later confirmed that in the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv, a hit occurred in non-residential utility buildings, causing a significant fire. There were also strikes in the Nemishlianskyi and Novobavarskyi districts. It is known that as a result of the enemy drone attack, seven people were injured in Kharkiv, including children.
