Ukrainian drone attack sparks fire near major oil refinery in Russia's Yaroslavl

A fuel facility area in Yaroslavl caught fire following an overnight drone attack. Traffic on the road leading out of the city toward Moscow was blocked for several hours, according to Yaroslavl Region Governor Mikhail Yevrayev.
What is known about the attack
According to the governor, the region came under a massive drone attack.
"Today, the region was subjected to a massive attack by Ukrainian drones. Most of the drones were shot down, but industrial fuel storage facilities were hit," he said.
Yevrayev said there were no casualties.
At around 4 a.m., Yevrayev reported that traffic leaving Yaroslavl toward Moscow — from the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt (Avenue) and the Southwestern Ring Road — had been temporarily blocked.
"Traffic leaving Yaroslavl toward Moscow has been restored," the governor clarified, adding that the drone threat alert in the region had been lifted.
What facilities are located in the area
A large industrial zone of the city is located in the area of Moskovsky Prospekt and the Southwestern Ring Road. It includes:

The Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteorgsintez (YANOS) oil refinery;

The Spetstorg Plus oil depot with storage capacity exceeding 300,000 cubic meters;

A bitumen plant;

CHP-3 and other industrial facilities.
Moskovsky Prospekt effectively leads directly to the oil refinery and industrial zone.
An unidentified drone attacked Volgograd the day before. According to OSINT channels, one of Russia's largest oil refineries, Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka, was hit.
Meanwhile, on May 27, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck an oil refinery in Tuapse — the fifth attack on the facility this spring.
