Drone attack on Kyiv region: Debris damages buildings, fire erupts
On the night of December 22, Russian military launched a mass attack using strike drones in the Kyiv region, reports Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
It is noted that the air raid alert lasted for almost 2.5 hours. Air defense forces actively engaged enemy targets.
"There are no hits on critical infrastructure objects. However, in one of the regions of the region, three private houses were damaged due to falling debris. In one of the unfinished houses, a fire occurred, which was promptly extinguished," the statement said.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. People whose property is damaged will be provided with all necessary assistance along with the local authorities.
Nighttime Shahed attack on Kyiv and the region
During the night of December 22, the aggressor launched a large-scale drone attack on several regions of Ukraine using Shahed drones.
Around 23:30 in Kyiv, powerful explosions were heard. Debris from the drones damaged residential buildings in three districts of the capital. Two people were injured.
