Attack on Kyiv: Debris damages residential building in one area
Russian forces are launching kamikaze drone attacks on Kyiv. In one district of the capital, debris has been reported falling onto a residential building, sparking a fire, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).
"As a result of the air defense systems engaging enemy targets in the Solomianskyi district, fragments have potentially struck a residential building. The information is being clarified. Emergency services are en route to the scene," stated Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).
Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported that, due to the falling debris, a residential building was hit in the Solomianskyi district.
"There is a fire on the upper floors. Emergency services are on site," he added.
According to the mayor, a woman was injured and has been hospitalized as a result of the incident.
Klitschko also reported that there is information about debris from a UAV falling onto a private residential building in the Darnytskyi district. Emergency services are en route to the scene.

The Kyiv City Military Administration has also released the first photos depicting the aftermath of the fallen debris from the downed drones.
Police document damage from shelling
The National Police is documenting the aftermath of the Russian attack on the capital.
According to law enforcement officials, as a result of the shelling with debris, 26 floors of a building in the Solomianskyi district have been damaged, leading to a fire. Information about casualties is currently being verified.
Several windows have been shattered in multiple apartments, and the building's facade has been damaged. Specialized services are on-site working to address the situation.
Kamikaze drone attack in Ukraine on December 21
On the evening of December 21, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and several northern, central, and southern regions. The aggressor is targeting Ukraine with kamikaze drones.
Subsequently, a series of loud explosions were heard in Kyiv.
Last night, the enemy deployed 35 attack drones, with the Defense Forces successfully neutralizing 34 of them.
