Russian drone strike hits near recruitment center in Kryvyi Rih, civilians injured

The Russian army attacked the city of Kryvyi Rih with a drone during the day on Monday, June 30. The strike was carried out near the building of the Territorial Recruitment Center, according to the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military personnel and civilian employees of the institution were not receiving citizens and were in a shelter during the alert.

Among the injured was a 52-year-old man in serious condition, two women, aged 44 and 54, who received assistance on site. Their condition is satisfactory.\

Russia hits Kharkiv with new Chernika drone for the first time

The Russian army has used a new drone called Chernika to strike the city of Kharkiv for the first time, reports the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov.

Kharkiv has suffered 16 enemy attacks just in the past week. Most often, the enemy used Shahed drones.

This drone is similar in warhead power to the Molniya drone but has a different design. As a result of its strike, several cars in a garage cooperative were damaged.

Norwegian F‑35s to shield Ukraine's main military aid hub in Poland

Norway will strengthen its contribution to NATO's air and missile defense system. This fall, F-35 fighter jets will be deployed to Poland and Rzeszów Airport, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense reports on X.

According to the statement, the mission is aimed at protecting the airspace of Poland and the key logistics hub for assistance to Ukraine.

Ukraine to receive $500 million from IMF

The International Monetary Fund has completed the eighth review of its cooperation program with Ukraine. This will allow Ukraine to receive half a billion dollars, according to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, and the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

"The IMF Executive Board has completed the Eighth Review of the Extended Arrangement under the EFF for Ukraine. We will soon receive the ninth instalment of the Fund, amounting to 500 million dollars. We will use the funds to cover priority budget expenditures," Shmyhal said.

Iran hands Ukraine a protest note, criticizing its support for Israel

The head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Tehran, Kyrylo Pozdniakov, was summoned to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There, he was presented with a note of protest, this was stated in a declaration by the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s department, according to ISNA.

Iranian Foreign Ministry official Shahram Farsai stated that the Ukrainian authorities supposedly "ignore Ukraine’s international legal obligations to uphold the principles and purposes of the UN Charter, as well as the four Geneva Conventions." He accused Kyiv of supporting Israel’s military aggression.
