Drone attack ignites warehouse fires, damages enterprise in Mykolaiv region
Several enemy Shahed kamikaze drones were shot down over the Mykolaiv region last night, on September 15. As a result of the air attack, a building of an enterprise was damaged, and a fire broke out in warehouses, according to the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim.
The official reported that there were no casualties.
"During the night of September 15, air defense forces and systems in Mykolaiv destroyed three Shahed 131/136 drones," the head of the Regional Military Administration wrote on Telegram.
He noted that as a result of the combat operation and falling debris from the downed drones, a food industry enterprise in the Mykolaiv district was damaged.
The official added that a fire also broke out in warehouse facilities.
In addition, the head of the administration reported that at 02:28 this night, the Kutsurub community and its surrounding waters in the Mykolaiv district came under attack by Russian invaders, who used FPV drones for the strike.
"Also, at 01:34 this night, the enemy carried out artillery shelling on the community. There were no casualties," Kim informed.
Earlier, it was reported that air defense was active in the Mykolaiv region overnight due to the detection of a Russian reconnaissance drone.
It is also worth noting that on the night of September 13, a fire broke out in Mykolaiv following a Shahed drone attack. At that time, debris from a downed kamikaze drone fell on the grounds of a food enterprise.
