Drone attack hits Sumy - Video shows aftermath

In Sumy, Russian forces destroyed buildings and shattered windows during a nighttime attack. Among the injured is a 14-year-old child, the Acting Mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, reports.
On the night of September 2, Russian troops struck Sumy. The shelling injured several people, including a 14-year-old girl, who sought outpatient medical care.
At 9:00 a.m., local time, city authorities set up a headquarters to manage the emergency aftermath. City council employees, utility services, and public organizations are working on-site, helping residents cover shattered windows and repair damaged buildings.
The nighttime shelling destroyed a row of commercial premises, damaged four residential buildings, and shattered about 50 windows. Local authorities are inspecting the damage and assessing losses.
Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar reported two explosions in Sumy and published video footage showing a fire. According to him, an enemy UAV struck a non-residential building.
That same night, the Russian army also launched a massive drone strike on the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russia launched 150 drones at Ukraine on the night of September 2. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 120 strike UAVs across the north, south, east, and central regions of the country, while 30 drones hit nine targets.
