Russia launches 150 drones at Ukraine from five directions, hits reported

On the night of September 2, Russia launched 150 drones against Ukraine from five directions. The Ukrainian military destroyed most of the enemy targets, but 30 hits were recorded, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.
“On the night of September 2 (starting from 7:00 p.m. Kyiv time on September 1), the enemy attacked with 150 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones,” the statement says.
The drones were launched from Russian territory - Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned system forces, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the attack.
In particular, air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 120 strike drones in the north, south, east, and central regions of the country.
At the same time, 30 strikes were recorded on nine targets, as well as falling debris in five locations.
Attack on Ukraine on September 2
On the night of September 2, the Russian army carried out a massive drone strike on the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out, one person was killed, and there are injured victims.
The city of Sumy also came under enemy attack - explosions sounded there twice. There are wounded who sought outpatient medical care, including a child.
Furthermore, in the Izmail district of the Odesa region, the Russians once again struck at the ports.
