Russian drones hit near Sumy kindergarten, causing injuries and huge fire

On the night of Tuesday, September 2, the Russian army struck the city of Sumy twice with drones. Hits were recorded near a kindergarten, and there are injuries, according to acting Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar.
Around 1:00 a.m. Kyiv time, local media reported explosions in Sumy amid a Russian drone attack.
According to Kobzar, it is currently known that two explosions occurred in the city, with drones flying over a non-residential building. A video shows a large-scale fire.
“Near a kindergarten, look, children’s clothing. So this is how our year starts. According to preliminary information, people have been injured by broken glass, and windows have been shattered. Tomorrow at 9 a.m., a command post will be set up, and there is again a threat of a repeated strike,” Kobzar said.
Meanwhile, Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov clarified that Russian drones struck non-residential buildings in the Zarichnyi district of Sumy. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
On the night of Monday, September 1, the Russian army launched several groups of Shahed-type attack drones, this time from the northern direction.
