Donetsk under drone attack, munitions warehouse possibly targeted

Explosions have been heard in temporarily occupied Donetsk. Earlier, unidentified drones were seen flying over the city, according to local Telegram channels.
The first reports of the unknown drones began appearing in local online communities around 2 a.m. on October 17.
Residents posted videos showing drones in the sky over the city.
Later, videos emerged capturing the sound of explosions.
Residents were advised to stay away from windows.
Soon, footage of a fire appeared, along with reports that an ammunition depot was likely burning.
There is currently no official information regarding the incident in occupied Donetsk.
Explosions in Donetsk
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported a fire in temporarily occupied Donetsk following a drone attack on October 11.
At that time, local online communities wrote about a large fire near the Sigma-Land hypermarket (formerly “Auchan”) by the Sloviansk-Donetsk-Mariupol bypass road.
Before that, a series of explosions occurred in temporarily occupied Donetsk on September 17, with reports online of impacts in one of the city’s districts.
Earlier still, on August 20, another series of explosions was heard across Donetsk, reportedly hitting the Kirovskyi district. Explosions were reported in various parts of the city, along with information about a fire.
Donetsk has been under occupation since spring 2014, when pro-Russian militants, with support from Russia, seized the city and declared the so-called “Donetsk People's Republic.”
