Donald Trump states that US close to renewing intelligence sharing with Ukraine

US President Donald Trump stated that the country may resume providing intelligence data to Ukraine. The provision had been recently blocked, along with the cessation of aid, at the initiative of the official Washington, according to Axios.
According to the US leader in a conversation with journalists aboard Air Force One on Sunday, the US is close to lifting the pause in intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
"We just about have, we really just about have," Trump said in response to media questions about whether he was considering unblocking the transfer of intelligence data to Ukraine.
The US president also shared that he expects positive results from negotiations between US and Ukrainian delegations, which are scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia early in the week.
"We're going to make a lot of progress, I believe, this week," he expressed his expectations, according to Reuters.
Additionally, Trump mentioned that his administration is considering many things regarding sanctions against Russia and noted that Washington is not concerned about military exercises involving China, Iran, and Russia.
US has suspended intelligence sharing with Ukraine
The US recently completely stopped sharing intelligence information with Ukraine. Although the White House did not explain these actions or warn of the intentions, the CIA director confirmed the suspension of the intelligence exchange.
French Minister of Defense Sébastien Lecornu stated that France is ready to replace the US in providing intelligence to Ukraine.
Furthermore, earlier Western media reported that the UK would continue to provide intelligence to Ukraine even after the suspension of exchanges between Kyiv and Washington. However, their capabilities are more limited than those of the US.
On March 9, US Senator Lindsey Graham, a member of the Republican Party, suggested providing Ukraine with intelligence and resuming the delivery of weapons for defense until a ceasefire is achieved.
