The US continues to discuss adjustments to its proposal for resolving the situation around Ukraine. A new round of contacts ended with statements about progress and expectations of further steps, according to a report by Sky News.

US President Donald Trump has scheduled a meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio for Monday.
The day before, he had led the negotiations in Geneva, where possible changes to the draft peace proposal for Ukraine were discussed.
These consultations were viewed as a continuation of the diplomatic efforts the American side has been conducting in recent weeks.

According to Sky News, Rubio described the latest round as one of the most productive in a long time.
On Sunday, he emphasized that the negotiations were very useful and added, “I feel very optimistic that we can get something done.”

Washington has developed a draft peace agreement on Ukraine, which currently serves as the starting point for negotiations, despite criticism from some senators.
