Russian's capability for offensive on Zaporizhzhia, Ukrainian expert's analysis
The Russian army is preparing for offensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia region, but there is no threat to the regional center, the city of Zaporizhzhia, Andrii Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council reports.
Kovalenko emphasized the importance of not confusing the Zaporizhzhia region with the city of Zaporizhzhia.
"The enemy is indeed preparing for certain actions in the Zaporizhzhia region, and the Defense Forces are ready for them as well," he stated.
The Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation added that the enemy does not have enough forces to launch an offensive on the city of Zaporizhzhia itself. The scale of resources and manpower required for such an operation exceeds what Russia currently possesses.
"Unfortunately, I see some experts on social media misinterpreting and constantly discussing the city of Zaporizhzhia, even twisting the words of other military officials. It is better not to do this," Kovalenko concluded.
