Dnipro building erupts in flames after Russian attack, rescue operations ongoing

In the evening, Russia once again attacked Dnipro. The attack caused a fire in an apartment building. A rescue operation is underway, according to a statement by the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, on Telegram.
Russia strikes Dnipro
Around 20:00 Kyiv time, Russian forces attacked Dnipro. This was followed by a fire in an apartment building, Hanzha said.
"We are clarifying information regarding casualties. A rescue operation is ongoing at the site of the enemy strike in Dnipro. Rescuers are evacuating people from the upper floors of the damaged high-rise," the official clarified.
All services are working at the scene.
Later, Hanzha reported that a 77-year-old woman was injured as a result of the enemy attack. Medics are providing her with all necessary assistance.
Hanzha shared footage from the building where the rescue operation is currently underway.
"The rescue operation is ongoing. Six people have already been rescued from the high-rise building. So far, three injured women have been reported," he noted.

Later, the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration shared photos of the aftermath of the Russian strike on a building in Dnipro.
Explosions were heard in Dnipro on the morning of September 28. Russia attacked the city center with a jet-powered drone, damaging an office building.
Furthermore, on September 11, Dnipro was again subjected to a massive attack by Russia. Eleven people were injured.
