American actor Tom Bower, who portrayed the janitor Marvin in Die Hard 2, passed away at age 86, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor suddenly passed away at his home in Los Angeles on June 4th.

It's worth noting that Bower was born in Denver. After finishing school, he dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player. When his sports plans fell through, he headed to New York and enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
There, Tom studied acting in the Shadows under the guidance of John Cassavetes. Later, he worked as a private detective in Boston and founded the Boston Repertory Theatre, where he taught acting lessons to Al Pacino.
His filmography includes projects such as Georgia, Nixon, Jazz, Battlestar Galactica, The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Bosch, and Goliath.
In his later years, the actor continued his film career, appearing in projects such as Two Ways Home, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, and Raymond & Ray.
