Deputy foreign minister held talks with UK and India ahead of security advisers' meeting

Ukraine’s foreign minister Andrii Sybiha held phone conversations with the foreign ministers of India and the United Kingdom ahead of the meeting of national security advisers, according to Sybiha’s posts on X.
Sybiha wrote that he held a phone call with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. They discussed "peace efforts and our leaders’ most recent contacts."
He noted that ahead of the meeting of national security advisers, they coordinated steps to advance a just peace. Sybiha thanked the United Kingdom for its support and leadership, including within the Coalition of the willing.
He later posted about a call with India’s external affairs minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
They also discussed "the dynamic of peace efforts and upcoming talks."
Sybiha said they exchanged assessments of the current developments and stressed India’s important role in achieving a just peace.
Negotiations on peace plan at advisers' level
As reported by the media, talks on Trump’s peace plan will take place on 23 November in Geneva. National security advisers from France, the United Kingdom and Germany, as well as representatives from the United States and Ukraine, are expected to participate.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian advisers would be working in Switzerland.
He said the vast majority of European leaders are ready to support and join the process. According to him, consultations are underway at different levels, and the activity of everyone seeking a real and lasting peace matters.
CNN also reported that the United States will hold a “quick meeting” with Russian representatives regarding Trump’s plan. It will not take place in Geneva, but when and where it will occur has not yet been disclosed.
