A US delegation has scheduled a quick meeting with Russian officials on Trump’s plan, according to CNN.

Sources told the network that a meeting between the Russian and US delegations has already been scheduled. They are expected to meet to discuss the proposed peace plan.

The meeting "will take place soon," though not in Geneva, an unnamed official cited by the media said.

Where and when this meeting will take place has not yet been disclosed.

What media previously reported about talks on peace plan

Earlier, media outlets reported that on 23 November in Geneva, the United States, Ukraine, and the EU would hold negotiations on the new peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump.

CNN wrote that US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and his team landed in Geneva on the morning of 22 November, where they were expected to meet with senior officials to discuss next steps toward a possible peace agreement.

A source said that on 23 November US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff would join the talks.

The outlet Sudostschweiz also reported that negotiations on Trump’s peace plan would take place in Geneva on Friday. According to Reuters, national security advisers from France, the UK, and Germany, as well as representatives of the US and Ukraine, are expected to attend.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian advisers would be working in Switzerland on 23 November. The majority of European leaders are ready to assist and take part. According to him, consultations are ongoing at various levels, and the activity of everyone striving for real and lasting peace matters.
