Debris rains down in six districts following Kyiv drone attack
Debris from drones fell in six districts of Kyiv due to an attack by Russia. Fires broke out, and damage to buildings has been reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.
It is noted that all drones threatening Kyiv were neutralized. The air raid alert lasted for over five hours in the capital.
In the Solomianskyi district, windows and exterior finishing of several residential buildings were damaged, as well as five vehicles. There were no fires or injuries reported.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a fire broke out on the top floors of a 16-story residential building, covering an area of 50 square meters. Eighteen people were evacuated, and one police officer was injured. A non-residential space on the territory of a private development was also damaged.
In the Holosiivskyi district, windows in several apartments were partially damaged in a 22-story residential building. There were no fires or injuries.
Local fires occurred on several balconies of apartment buildings in the Dniprovskyi district.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out between the 3rd and 4th floors of an inactive multi-story building. The fire covered an area of two square meters and was extinguished without any reported injuries.
Additionally, in the Pecherskyi district, a balcony in an eight-story building was damaged.
Furthermore, part of a Russian drone fell onto the R-30 highway, complicating traffic in the direction of the city of Irpin.
The Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) reports that movements of hostile drones are still being detected in the Kyiv region. It is not ruled out that the drones may again head towards Kyiv.
