Another fire broke out in Kyiv after explosions
A fire broke out in Kyiv on the morning of November 2 following explosions and air defense operations. Debris fell during the incident, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration and Mayor Vitali Klitschko on Telegram.
"Emergency services were called to the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. Preliminary reports indicate a fire due to debris from a UAV," said the city mayor.
The Kyiv City Military Administration noted that a fire broke out in a multi-storey non-residential building.
The Mayor of Kyiv clarified that debris from the drone hit an office building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, resulting in a fire on one of the floors.
Attack on Kyiv
The Russians launched drones at Kyiv in waves. In the early morning, explosions could be heard, and air defense systems were active. As of this morning, combat operations are ongoing.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, debris from drones fell in six districts of the capital: Solomyanskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Dniprovskyi.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a fire occurred in a high-rise building due to falling debris. Local authorities reported two victims.
