Shahed attack on Kyiv: Photos of building fire emerge, along with updated consequences
As a result of a drone attack, the upper two floors of a 16-story building in Kyiv caught fire. An evacuation of residents is currently underway, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Kyiv City Military Administration, and the mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klitschko.
It is noted that in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the city, the drone attack caused a fire covering an area of 50 square meters and partial damage to apartments on the 15th and 16th floors of a 16-story residential building.
Rescue workers are evacuating residents from the building.
As a result of the incident, one man was injured, and medical personnel assisted on-site.

Debris was also reported to have fallen in the Dniprovskyi district, causing a fire on the balcony of a nine-story residential building, covering an area of 2 square meters.
There have been no reports of casualties.
The State Emergency Service reported that the fire resulting from the enemy attack in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital has been extinguished.
The fire occurred on the 16th floor, leading to partial destruction in the apartments on the 15th and 16th floors.
Rescuers evacuated 18 residents from the building, with one person injured.
Currently, nine units of equipment and 40 emergency service personnel are working at the scene.
Nighttime drone attack
During the night of November 2, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with strike drones of the Shahed type.
In the morning, debris from the drones fell in two districts of Kyiv, igniting a fire in a residential building.
