Death toll rises in Kharkiv after Russian KAB strike

On the evening of June 7, Russian forces carried out four air-dropped bomb strikes on Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, the death toll has risen to two, according to the channel of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov.
"The number of casualties from the Russian KAB strike on Kharkiv is rising. A 62-year-old man who had been hospitalized in critical condition has died. Our condolences go out to his family and loved ones," the statement said.
Two more victims remain in intensive care in extremely critical condition. Doctors are currently fighting to save their lives.
Earlier reports indicated that three people were in critical condition.
Evening strike on Kharkiv, June 7
At around 5:35 PM today, Russian forces launched four guided aerial bomb strikes on the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the strike hit the children’s railway; in the Kyivskyi district, it targeted private homes. As a result, two buildings of the children’s railway and four railcars were damaged, along with two private houses and one utility structure.
Initially, 18 people were reported injured. However, shortly afterward, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that over 40 people had been wounded in the Kharkiv attack. He called the strike "another brutal murder" by Russia.
It is now confirmed that two people have died in the attack. The first fatality was a 30-year-old woman who had recently been appointed head of the children’s railway.
