Death toll from Russia's overnight strike on Kyiv rises to 13

Last night, Russian forces launched one of the largest combined attacks on the Ukrainian capital. As a result of the enemy strike on Kyiv, more than 10 people were killed, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Prosecutors, in cooperation with investigators, are continuing to document the consequences of the war crime committed by Russia in Kyiv, Ukraine.
"Search and rescue operations are ongoing. According to available information, people may still be trapped under the rubble," the Prosecutor's Office added.
As of 18:40, the death toll from Russia's overnight attack on Kyiv has risen to 13 confirmed fatalities.
Russia's overnight attack on Kyiv – June 17
During the night of June 17, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine, using nearly 500 attack drones and dozens of missiles.
As a result of a Kh-101 missile strike in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district, an entire section of a nine-story apartment building collapsed, and a fire broke out in a nearby five-story building.
Earlier reports had confirmed 10 fatalities from the large-scale overnight attack on the capital.
Additional damage was recorded in the Darnytskyi, Podilskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts. In total, 27 locations across Kyiv came under Russian fire that night.
