Deadly Russian strike kills woman, injures two in eastern Ukraine villages

Russian troops attacked Kupiansk and Vovchanski Khutory in the Kharkiv region. A woman was killed in the strikes. Two other civilians were injured while working in their garden, informs Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
According to Syniehubov, in the village of Vovchanski Khutory, Russian forces struck civilians with an FPV drone while they were in the garden.
"A 47-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man received injuries of varying severity. Medical personnel hospitalized the victims," he said.
At the same time, Kupiansk was also attacked. A 63-year-old woman died as a result of the enemy strike there. A 65-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction.
Russian drone attack on May 31
Notably, during the night, Russia launched more than 100 drones and five missiles at Ukraine.
Specifically, Russian forces attacked with two jet strike drones from the Belgorod region. They also fired two S-300 anti-aircraft missiles and three Kh-59/69 guided aviation missiles.
The main targets were Kharkiv, Sumy, and Donetsk regions. Air defense forces intercepted nearly 70 drones and three Kh-59/69 guided missiles. In total, strikes were recorded in 13 locations overnight.
RBC-Ukraine reported that Russian drones attacked Kharkiv at night. Hits occurred in several locations.
Russian forces also launched missile and drone strikes on the Sumy region. Agricultural enterprises in the Trostyanets district were targeted.
