Deadly night raid: Kyiv mayor provides update on casualties after Russian strike

That night, Russian troops carried out a combined attack on Kyiv. As a result of the enemy shelling, civilians were killed, according to the capital’s mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Klitschko said that as of 4:00 p.m. Kyiv time, as a result of the enemy's massive attack on the capital last night, the death of 10 people has been confirmed.
"Search and rescue operation continues. People may still be under the rubble," emphasized the mayor of Kyiv.

On the night of June 17, Russian troops attacked Ukraine, using almost 500 strike drones and dozens of missiles.
As a result of the hit by a Kh-101 missile in the Solomianskyi district, an entire entrance of a 9-story building collapsed, and a fire broke out in a 5-story building.
It should be noted that it was previously reported that rescuers unblocked the bodies of five more deceased from under the rubble of the high-rise building.
In addition, damage was recorded in the Darnytskyi, Podilskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts. In total, 27 locations in different districts of the capital came under enemy fire that night.
