Last night, on June 17, Russians launched a combined attack on Kyiv. 14 people were killed. Rescuers have unblocked the bodies of five more victims from the rubble of a high-rise building, including the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

"Unfortunately, the number of victims of the Russian terrorist attack on Kyiv has increased. It has become known that the bodies of 5 more victims have been recovered from the rubble of a building destroyed by a Russian missile in the Solomianskyi district," the Kyiv City Military Administration head says.

According to him, the rescue operation is ongoing, and search operations at the site of the Russian missile hit are ongoing.

Russian night attack on Kyiv on June 17

Last night, on June 17, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 472 attack drones and dozens of missiles. A Russian Kh-101 missile hit a 9-story building in the Solomianskyi district, causing an entire stairwell to collapse and a fire to break out in a 5-story building.

In addition, the Russian attack damaged a kindergarten and non-residential buildings in the Darnytskyi district. In the Podilskyi district, debris was seen falling in the open.

The upper floors of a residential building in Shevchenkivskyi district, a non-residential building in Solomianskyi district, several locations in Darnytskyi district, and warehouses in Sviatoshynskyi district were also on fire. In total, 27 locations in different districts of the capital came under Russian fire last night.
