The nighttime Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia region resulted in casualties and injuries. The shelling caused the destruction of houses and fires, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

As a result of the Russian attack, four civilians were injured and hospitalized. Among them:

  • An 86-year-old woman in serious condition due to burns covering more than 54% of her body.
  • A 59-year-old man in moderate condition.
  • Two women, aged 30 and 56, with minor injuries.

Fedorov reported that two people, a man and a woman, were killed.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration clarified that the enemy did not cease attacking Zaporizhzhia and the region throughout the past day. The Russians struck 208 times across 14 settlements, resulting in the deaths of three people and injuries to five others.

During the night, air raid alerts were declared in Kyiv and several regions. Later, a Russian MiG-31K took to the skies. Ukraine's Air Force also reported the takeoff of several Tu-95MS bombers. Around 2:13 AM, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia.

The threat of Russian strikes persisted throughout the night, with sirens sounding multiple times in several regions.

Russia deployed a naval carrier of Kalibr missiles in the Black Sea.
