The Czech company LPP holding has developed unique drones controlled by artificial intelligence that are resistant to Russian jammers. Hundreds of such drones have already been sent to Ukraine, where they are used in combat, ČTK České noviny says.

MTS series drones differ from traditional ones in that they do not require the transmission or reception of signals for navigation.

The operator loads the mission target, and artificial intelligence independently orients itself by visually comparing the real environment with the map.

Thanks to this, the drones work even in difficult conditions where GPS signals are blocked or unavailable.

Among the three drone models are the tactical MTS05 with a range of several dozen kilometers, the medium MTS25 on an internal combustion engine that can fly hundreds of kilometers, and the largest MTS40, capable of carrying a warhead weighing up to 12 kg.

In addition, the Czech army has also become interested in LPP holding's technologies and plans to purchase these drones.

Currently, the company produces about 100 drones per month, planning to increase production to 20 units per day.

The production cycle is fully controlled within the holding - from programming and electronics to the assembly and development of warheads.

LPP holding is a Czech technology holding that unites companies in the fields of aviation, artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering, and defense technologies.

Czechia's assistance to Ukraine

Last year, Czech President Petr Pavel announced that his country had identified 800,000 shells that could be purchased for Ukraine. The head of state specified that the shells could be delivered within a few weeks, but funding would be required for this.

Czechia, as part of its initiative, will be able to provide Ukraine with the same amount of ammunition this year as in 2024, namely 1.5 million units.
