Croatia is preparing to allocate a new, 12th package of military and technical assistance to Ukraine. It is to be approved tomorrow, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a press conference with his Croatian counterpart Andrej Plenković.

“I thank Prime Minister Plenković for announcing tomorrow's decision. I hope it will be adopted and Ukraine will receive the 12th package. We are grateful for the preparation of this package, which is extremely important on the battlefield,” Shmyhal said.

He also thanked Croatia for its military assistance and assistance in imposing new sanctions against Russia.

“Sanctions remain the number one tool to weaken the aggressor. We agreed to explore the possibility of establishing a joint Ukrainian-Croatian working group to monitor the illegal activities of the Russian shadow fleet,” Shmyhal said.

Croatia's assistance to Ukraine

Last October, Ukraine and Croatia signed a bilateral agreement on long-term support and cooperation. It was signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković.

This agreement will be valid for 10 years. In it, Croatia reaffirms its commitment to support Ukraine until the war is won.

In September, Croatia announced the 11th package of military aid to Ukraine.

Croatia also planned to provide 14 transport helicopters to Ukraine.
