Crimean Bridge doomed: Security Service of Ukraine announces more surprises for Russians to come

The Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), Vasyl Maliuk, discussed the outcomes of successful Defense Forces operations, within which the special services undermined the Crimean Bridge, particularly utilizing Sea Baby marine drones, according to Maliuk's account in the first episode of the documentary series "SSU. Special Operations of Victory," released today on TV.
The head of the Security Service notes that the Crimean Bridge is doomed and announced a series of surprises for the Russian occupiers, not only regarding attacks on this object.
"We have shattered the myth of Russia's invincibility. It's a fake country. The bridge is doomed. There will be many surprises, not only concerning the Crimean Bridge," he said.
Maliuk adds that Russia had boasted to the world about their illegal bridge, which cost billions of dollars to protect, claiming it was supposedly the most secure structure globally. However, the SSU's maritime drones proved otherwise.
According to the SSU chief, successful attacks by Ukrainian special services on the Crimean Bridge severed the logistical artery of the Russian occupiers, forcing the Russians to transport weapons to their troops by ferries.
"We have essentially revolutionized the philosophy of naval operations," Maliuk said.
Moreover, he added that the SSU-developed Sea Baby is not just a military marine drone but a multi-purpose platform actively used today to defend Ukraine.
Strikes on the Crimean Bridge
The illegally constructed Crimean Bridge by the occupiers suffered at least two strikes.
In October 2022, powerful explosions caused significant damage. Vasyl Maliuk, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, confirmed it was an operation by his intelligence service.
Additionally, in July 2023, another attack on the Crimean Bridge occurred, resulting in the destruction of two spans. Maliuk also confirmed the involvement of his intelligence service in this attack, conducted with the help of Sea Baby drones.
